GTM’s ambassadors carry this mission into the field — building relationships with seminaries, consortiums, and Champion Partners around the world.

Dr. David Mahfouz

Pastor of First Baptist Church of Warren and a three-time graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Earned a Ph.D. in Theology with a specialization in Missiology at the University of South Africa. Serves on the Executive Board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, chairing the History and Heritage Committee and the Baptist Distinctives Council.

Dr. Daniel Sanchez

Latin America Consortium Development

Distinguished Professor of Missions at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Decades of experience in international missions, global teaching, church planting, and evangelism.

Dr. Harry Lewis

Caribbean Consortium Development

Began his career in aeronautics with NASA and Boeing before pursuing seminary studies. Pastored three Baptist churches before joining the North American Mission Board, where he served as Executive Director of the Cooperative Strategies Team and later Vice President for Partnership Missions and Mobilization.

Peter Vavrosky

Asian Consortium Development

Responsible for educational technology at GTM and oversees development of educational resources worldwide. Leads Asian Consortium Development through Global Educational Systems.

Dr. Steve Branson

A retired pastor whose church partnered with GLDI and the Hispanic Consortium to strengthen theological education in Cuba. That partnership has grown to the point where Cuban partner institutions are now producing their own Ph.D. students.
